College Scholarships
Research early, prioritize scholarships, apply early
The strategy is a three-step process:
- Identify all of the college scholarships for which you are eligible.
- Select the college scholarships that have the right combination of "probability
of success" and "scholarship amount."
- Carefully complete applications to meet the submission deadlines
and requirements (such as essays, transcripts and recommendations).
To begin step one, you can search for college scholarships through
IntotheBest.com's recommendations.
In step two, you must consider the scholarship amount for each scholarship uncovered
as well as the probability of receiving it. While you probably will not
know the number of applicants for a scholarship, the degree to which you
fit the criteria is a good indication of how likely you are to win.
The table below shows the suggested priorities for scholarships for
which you are eligible. The number in each square is the suggested "priority"
to be placed on the category of scholarship, where "1" represents a scholarship of high amount
and high probability of success for you.

After choosing those scholarships to which you will apply, carefully complete the corresponding
applications, keeping in mind the deadlines and work involved.
